Entrepreneurs recognized will include regional business owners of all ages representing both B2B and consumer businesses. All entrepreneurs showcased are a reflection of creative marketing, advertising, community outreach and promotional strategies designed to create business opportunities. Entrepreneurs, ranging in ages that span four decades and include a scope of cultural diversity, will be recognized for their tireless entrepreneurial spirit and business creativity.
“Out of the slow recovery from the depths of a poor economic time, emerges a strong and ambitious leader - the entrepreneur," reports Pamela R. Henshall, president and CEO of BIZ BUZZ, Inc., the parent company of South Jersey Biz Buzz. "By definition, the entrepreneur is a person who assumes significant accountability for the inherent risks and outcome, and is vitally important in a capitalistic society - an entrepreneur creatively identifies opportunity to overcome economic change.”
Professionals from throughout the Delaware Valley region are encouraged to attend the free networking reception and awards presentation ceremony on Friday, Nov. 6. More than 60 professionals from throughout the region are anticipated to attend - creating a great opportunity for business card networking and professional connections all in the spirit of
entrepreneurialism.
The event will feature commentary by the Burlington County Chamber of Commerce, Entrepreneurs Forum of Southern New Jersey, South Jersey Biz Buzz and the Courier-Post. William Janus, a leading marketing visionary with the Gannett publication, The Courier-Post, will speak on the importance of entrepreneurialism, as well as the Courier-Post's THRIVE program for business growth through targeted advertising.
"During these economic times, it is critical that our region recognize entrepreneurs of all ages who are right this very minute working to keep their businesses positioned for growth and opportunity," reports John M. Hudicka, CAS, founder of PromotionUltraSource.com and a leading member of the coalition to create the Delaware Valley Entrepreneur Awards. "The Delaware Valley Entrepreneur Awards was created to inspire our regional business community - to show that businesses can survive and even thrive even during a slow economy."
